Agent Role

The hundred questions you answer every week.

Most support volume is not hard — it is repetitive. Where is my order, how do I reset it, are you open Monday. A Front-Line Support agent takes the tier-one load off your team and hands off cleanly the moment a question genuinely needs a person.

What this agent actually does.

The goal is not to replace your support team. It is to stop them spending their best hours on the same eight questions, and to cover the hours when nobody is at a desk.

Absorbs the repeat questions

Handles the tier-one volume — hours, status, how-to, basic troubleshooting — instantly and identically every time.

Covers the hours you do not

Nights, weekends, and holidays get the same answer quality as Tuesday at 10am, without staffing for it.

Hands off with context

When a question needs a human, it routes with the conversation already captured, so nobody starts from scratch.

Tells you what to fix

Recurring questions are a map of your missing documentation. The reports point at what to write next.

On escalation

A support agent is only as good as its handoff. Defining which questions it resolves, which it escalates, and how it transfers context is part of the SOP and work-instruction step in onboarding — not something left to the model to decide in the moment.

Questions it answers all day.

These come straight from live deployments. Your agent’s version is built from your own support content.

“Where is my order?”

“Are you open on Monday?”

“How do I change my reservation?”

“How do I create an account?”

“It is not working — what do I try first?”

“How do I get in touch with a person?”

“Can I change the address on this order?”

“Where do I send this back to?”

Same role, different queue.

How it is configured.

Agent type

Voice or avatar. Voice is the usual choice — support conversations are about speed and resolution rather than brand presence.

Account scope

Runs on any CRSTA tier. Live order, account, or ticket lookups need the API and integration access available on Enterprise.

What you supply

Your FAQ and help content, common resolutions, and escalation paths. Existing support macros are ideal source material.

Deployments that connect to a CRM, order system, or ticketing platform run 4–8 weeks of structured onboarding on Network and 8–12 weeks on Enterprise for the first agent, then 1–2 weeks for each additional agent.

Give your team their week back.

Book 30 minutes and we will scope this role against your actual ticket mix — including which questions should never be automated.
